Wheaton Warrenville South Marching Band Car Wash Scheduled for June 27

On Saturday June 27 from 8 am until 5 pm, Platinum Car Wash (55 E. Loop in Wheaton) will offer a special “Tiger Wash” to its customers. Benefitting the Wheaton Warrenville South Tiger Marching Band, this special wash includes vacuuming, window washing, an air freshener as well as the standard exterior wash. A portion of every oil change completed on June 27 will also be donated to the marching band program.

Groups of students from the wind, percussion, and color guard sections will be on hand to offer baked good for sale. In case of inclement weather, Platinum will issue rain checks that band supporters can redeem at a future date.

Under the direction of Victor Scimeca, the Class A band performs at all home football games and plans to compete in five field competitions this fall.
