Woman's Possible Hit-And-Run Death Under Investigation In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are asking residents to come forward with information or surveillance footage after a woman died following a possible hit-and-run crash on Roosevelt Road Jan. 2. Paige Donahue, 31, of Wheaton, had sustained "severe traumatic injuries" when she was found on Roosevelt by a driver around 8:15 p.m., according to an update from city officials.

Donahue was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died of her injuries.

Residents in the area are encouraged to review their surveillance and doorbell camera footage from Jan. 2 to see if they notice any suspicious vehicles or activity between 8 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
