WHEATON, IL — Wheaton's Planning and Zoning Board is set to review review a proposal for an eight-townhome development at 1701 E. Roosevelt Rd.

Petitioners Roosevelt Commons, LLC, are requesting a special use permit and a zoning setback variation for the development.

The site, part of the Roosevelt Road Corridor District, is currently zoned R-R-4. Zoning code for that area requires a 15-foot side yard setback, but the developer is asking for a variance that would allow a sideyard setback of 12.6 feet.
