2 Bikes Stolen in Wilmette on Same Day
The thefts were reported at a school and train station parking lot.

Wilmette police responded to a pair of bicycle thefts on Wednesday.
They were called to McKenzie School, 649 Prairie at 8:45 a.m. to hear that an offender stole a female student’s unlocked bicycle - a black/purple Giant “Enchant 2” valued at $350 - from the bike rack at the school sometime between 8:45 a.m. Monday and Wednesday morning.
A separate victim victim reported his bike stolen from the Metra parking lot at 500 Poplar Drive at 7 p.m., telling police someone removed his roof-top bicycle rack from his vehicle while he was at work that day.
