6 Caught Smoking Pot in Car Outside Corner Bakery

WILMETTE, IL - Police found six people in one car smoking marijuana outside a closed Corner Bakery in Wilmette last week.

Four people were charged with possessing less than 10 grams of cannabis at 9:22 p.m. on Oct. 25, according to a police report.

An officer observed the vehicle outside the business in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue and noticed a strong odor of cannabis. In a search of the vehicle, the officer found cannabis, scales and a multicolored smoking pipe.

Cited were a 19-year-old man from Chicago, two 16-year-old boys and one 17-year-old boy.
