7 People Apply To Wilmette Board Of Park Commissioners

WILMETTE, IL — The Board of Park Commissioners announced that seven residents have submitted their qualifications to apply for the board’s vacant seat. The Board also announced that it has decided to interview all seven applicants.

The date and times of each of the interviews are not available yet, but they will be announced on the Park Commissioners website when they are, according to Executive Director Steve Wilson.

Here are the seven candidates who will be interviewed:

1. Lindsay Anderson
2. Alexandra Eidenberg
3. Isaac Gaetz
4. Patrick Lahey
5. David Najarian
6. Ryrie Pellaton
7. John Thompson

The Board of Park Commissioners is an independent elected board that oversees. the administration of the Wilmette Park District, and forms standing committees dealing with the lakefront, golf operations, parks and recreation, real estate, and more. Commissioners are elected by Wilmette residents in April for four-year terms. The Board has no term limits. Meetings take place at 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.

Future meetings will take place Sept. 13, Oct. 18, Nov. 8, and Dec. 13. Current members include President Michael Murdock, Vice President Julia Goebel, Cecilia Clarke, Patrick Duffy, Allison Frazier, and Kara Kosloskus.
