Wilmette Resident Iliana Mora Promoted to Erie Family Health Center COO

CHICAGO – March 20, 2013 – Erie Family Health Center, a provider of high quality health services to underserved communities, has promoted Wilmette resident Iliana A. Mora to Chief Operating Officer, a new position.

In her new role, Mora will provide leadership for the full range of operating activities at Erie Family Health Center. Specifically, she will oversee and ensure integration of clinical operations, programs, financial management, marketing and fundraising.

Mora joined Erie Family Health Center in 2002 and has served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations since 2008. Under Mora’s direction, Erie launched oral health services and optometry care, expanded school-based health centers, opened Erie’s first suburban location in Evanston and is planning to open a community health center in Waukegan. Mora also has focused on strengthening Erie’s brand among Erie patients and financial supporters, launching employee management programs to invest in Erie staff, and developing the organizational infrastructure needed for Erie’s future growth plan.

“Iliana has been instrumental in leading Erie’s organizational priorities and devising and executing our growth plans,” said Dr. Lee Francis, Erie’s President and CEO. “She is well prepared for this exciting new role, and I know she will continue to make enormous contributions to our organization.”

Mora received a Bachelor of Arts degree in international affairs with an economics concentration from The George Washington University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a Master of Urban Planning and Policy degree from the University of Illinois.
