Artwork Stolen From Sheridan Road Estate: Cops

Police also responded to a report of a phony prescription made for Hydrocodone at the Walgreens on Lake Avenue: Wilmette Police Blotter.

Theft

The adult daughter of an estate in the 1300 block of Sheridan reported that there were items missing from her parents' residence and believes her daughter took the items without permission. The property missing was part of the estate left by complainant’s father. There is a court order prohibiting the complainant’s daughter from removing items from the residence. Missing are paintings, computer and ivory cows and elephants.

Forgery

On Dec. 9 from 9:18 a.m. to 9:32 a.m., officers responded to Walgreens, 3232 Lake for a forged prescription given to the pharmacist for Hydrocodone. The black male subject left the store before the prescription was filled and the vehicle a white minivan with no plates left westbound on Lake and southbound I-94.

Identity Theft

A resident in the 1500 block of Gregory filed a report regarding an account she shares with her parents. The account was not as large as she thought and checked further. A check was deposited into the account in Ohio and then money was withdrawn. The subject used a driver’s license and a debit card with the victim’s name on it. The account was frozen and a fraud report was filed with the bank.
