We invite you to explore Haiti through music on this Sunday, April 27, at 2 pm when Crossing Borders Music Collective presents The Real Vodou: A Haitian Classical Music Concert. At the concert, musicians will present string quartets by Haitian composers and, through narrative, images, and video, explore the rich culture of Haitian Vodou that inspired their music. All ages are welcome.
And, we hope you'll return to the library on Monday, April 28, at 7 pm when a staff librarian will lead a discussion of Edwidge Danticat's latest novel, Claire of the Sea Light.
