Bette Vitale Remembered at New Trier Township

Bette Vitale founded the Food Pantry at New Trier Township. Her family, friends and Township staff gathered Wednesday to honor her.

Family, friends, and members of the New Trier Township staff gathered Wednesday afternoon to honor the memory of Bette Vitale, founder of the New Trier Township Food Pantry. Bette's husband Cesar Vitale, Township Supervisor Paddie Brennen and Community Services Administrator all shared memories of her wonderful, caring persona and the many lives she touched while serving as the Social Worker for the Township.

A plaque with an inscription written by Mr. Vitale will be on permanent display at the New Trier Township Food Pantry to honor her life and career accomplishments.
