Cab Driver Gets DUI in Wilmette
The American Cab operator was also allegedly driving while suspended and may have been in possession of a controlled substance.
WILMETTE, IL - The driver of an American Cab vehicle on Monday picked up charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license when he was stopped in the 3500 block of Lake Ave.
Police made the stop for a minor traffic violation around 1:50 p.m. and Aden Ibrahim, 26, Chicago was found to have a suspended driver’s license. When the cab was searched, police said they found a controlled substance and Ibrahim failed field sobriety tests.
