Mom's Meetup - American Motherhood Tour Film Screening

The WCW will be hosting a viewing of a new documentary by Moms First about American Motherhood.

Moms First is a national non-profit organization that advocates for structural changes, such as access to high-quality child care, and works to change cultural perceptions of motherhood to help families and the economy thrive.

As Moms First describes the film: 

"For generations, mothers in the U.S. have been told to work harder, smile wider, and do it all — while a system built to fail us keeps going with the status quo. Motherhood has been devalued and dismissed, yet mothers are still expected to hold up the economy with no structural support to stand on. We’re investigating how we got here — and what it will take to build something better."

Please come join us for a free viewing of the film. Open to the community.  We'll have light refreshments.
