Car Windows Smashed at Loyola Academy

The thief made off with a purse, credit cards and $20 on Saturday.

WILMETTE, IL - Police are investigating a burglary to motor vehicle incident reported at Loyola Academy last week.

According to a police report, an unknown subject smashed out a driver's window of a car parked at the the school around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.

The person who smashed the vehicle's window was driving a white, 4-door vehicle and stole a purse that had $20, a driver's license and several credit cards in it. Police say the purse was in plain view.

The theft was captured on the school's video surveillance.
