​Change Stolen During Overnight Break-in At JP McCarthy's Pizza

WILMETTE, IL - A local Wilmette pizzeria was the victim of an overnight burglary, but all the offenders made off with was a bunch of change from an open cash register.

Wilmette police responded to JP McCarthy's Pizza, 509 4th St. at 4:13 a.m. on Dec. 5 for an alarm call.

The officers who responded reported that they found the rear window of the business broken out and the rear door unlocked. The business owner later told police that the only thing missing was some change from the open register.
