Child Porn Charge Added Against Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Girl

Wilmette police arrested Edmund Glueck, 50, in February on abuse charges. A search of his computer allegedly found photos of underage girls.

WILMETTE, IL — A Wilmette man accused of sexually assaulting a minor now faces child pornography charges after photos of underage girls were allegedly found on his computer, according to police.

Edmund Glueck, 50, of the 100 block of Woodbine Avenue, was arrested and charged Wednesday with child pornography after a crime lab investigation found the illegal images on his computer, which had been seized by police earlier this year.

In February, Glueck was arrested and charged with criminal predatory sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse after he was accused of abusing the child of family friends between August 2014 and February 2016. The attacks began when the girl was 11 years old and ended when she was 13, according to Wilmette police.

During the February arrest, police executed a search warrant on Glueck's home and seized multiple electronic items, which where handed over to the computer forensic lab. The lab's findings came back this week, revealing multiple images of girls younger than 13 had been discovered on Glueck's computer.
