PEER Services is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Our Programs: Adult Treatment: •	Individual &amp; Group Counseling •	Intensive Outpatient Program •	Medication-Assisted Recovery for Heroin, Opioid Use or Alcohol Use Disorders •	Case Management •	DUI Risk Education &amp; Aftercare •	Alcohol and Other Drug Evaluations •	Recovery Support Specialists •	Recovery Oriented Systems of Care Coalition •	Substance Use Crisis Support at The Living Room (Evanston) •	Partnerships with the United States Probation Office and the Cook County Skokie Court House through our Second Chances Program Adolescent Treatment: •	Early intervention education •	Individual counseling •	Family Support Prevention Services: PEER Services prevention department partners with schools, local non-profit organizations, businesses, local coalitions, and others to help support the community to act as a united front in substance use prevention (SUP) and mental health support. We provide presentations, trainings, and resources for youth, parents, community members, local organizations, and other community entities on topics such as Alcohol, Cannabis, Current substance trends, Fentanyl, Life Skills Training, Decision Making, Peer Pressure, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Opioid Overdose, Prescription Medications, Tobacco, and Vaping

WILMETTE, IL - Police have told a man accused of soliciting cigarettes from staff at the Shell in the 300 block of Ridge Road to not return to the gas station. A police report indicates the man was there from 8:30 a.m. to 9:17 a.m. on Thursday asking for cigarettes from the service staff in the garage area of the station. When police arrived, he was located a short distance away and warned that "should he return to the station he could face arrest for trespassing."

Each artist’s story captures moments of pain and perseverance, and together their voices form a collective testimony of survival, hope and artistic defiance in the face of devastation. Lilies of Gaza comes to Northminster through Bright Stars of Bethlehem, a U.S. nonprofit which raises awareness and support for Dar al-Kalima University, the first and only university for arts, culture, and design in all of Palestine. Massage therapist, acupuncturist, or similar needed to sublet a room for their own practice. The room is in downtown Evanston at 1609 Sherman Ave. This is in a shared office suite with a total of four rooms. The room is approximately 120 sf and is available for $400 a month. The suite electric bill is split four ways, coming to around $12 per room. The room has a large wall mirror. Other amenities include a client reception area, a microwave, storage space, and a refrigerator. A massage table can be provided for the room if needed. The building has an elevator with keypad entry to the building 24/7. There is a parking garage across the street, and the CTA and Metra are two blocks away.
