Craigslist Ad Leads to Cocaine Bust in Wilmette
A 26-year-old Chicago man was arrested for allegedly attempting to deliver a controlled substance.
Wilmette detectives arrested a Chicago man on Aug. 31 in the 100 block of Green Bay Road for allegedly attempting to deal cocaine, TribLocal reports.
Police discovered a Craigslist ad in which the 26-year-old was supposedly offering to sell the drug. Authorities used the site to arrange a meeting with the man in the 100 block of Green Bay Road last Wednesday, according to police reports.
