Criminal Damage At School: Cops

Retail Theft
Officers responded to Walgreens, 811 Green Bay for a retail theft at 5:13 p.m. on Dec. 23. The store manager reported that a white male offender in his 30’s hid items under his coat and left the store without paying for the items. As the subject left he set the anti-theft alarm off and entered an older model red vehicle which left west in the lot and then north towards Lake.

Criminal Damage
The school secretary at Central School, 910 Central reported that unknown offender(s) pulled wooden pickets off the fence and engraved writing on the play house at some time between 3 p.m. on Dec. 21 and 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 22. The officer found that the writing was in chalk and was wiped off but there were some pickets pulled off the fence.

Theft
A Winnetka resident reported that she loaned her computer to her teenage daughter who resides with her ex- husband in the 100 block of Mohawk. The daughter reported that she left the computer on a table in his house and they are now unable to locate the computer.
