Disturbance at Residence Inn Results in Warrant Arrest

Police in Wilmette broke up a fight involving 20 Friday night.

WILMETTE, IL - A fight between about 20 people at Residence Inn Friday night was broken up by police, who arrested one of the participants on a warrant.

According to a police report, officers arrived at the Old Glenview Road business at 11:21 p.m. on Feb. 19 and arrested Marquess Fleming, 20, of Chicago on a warrant for probation violation. The fight had begun inside and then moved outside the motel.

All other participants were told to leave and did so without any problems, police said.
