Driver 3 Times Over the Legal Limit During Stop: Cops

DUI

Hector L. Santiago, 68, of the 5300 block of North Winchester Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after an April 12 traffic stop.

Police pulled over Santiago at about 1:14 a.m. for a minor traffic violation in the 300 block of Sheridan Road, according to the police report. During the stop, Santiago admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety tests.

He took a breath test at the police station, and his blood alcohol content registered 0.241, three times above the legal limit.

DUI

Sony D. Negreros, 25, of the 2700 block of Winnemac Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after an April 13 traffic stop near Oakwood Avenue and Green Bay Road.
