PEER Services is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. All Things Bright and Beautiful is a ministry of Church of the Holy Comforter, an Episcopal church located just blocks from Lake Michigan. We welcome children into a loving, faith-based community where we celebrate all spiritual growth. Founded in 1994, All Things Bright and Beautiful Preschool is a DCFS-licensed early childhood education program serving the nearby communities of Kenilworth, Winnetka, and, Glencoe, Northfield, and Wilmette. Each day, children engage in active learning through art processes, music, circle time, sensory table explorations, stories, and free play opportunities. WILMETTE, IL - A Monday morning road rage incident in Wilmette resulted in the arrest of a Winnetka man who police say damaged another driver's car with a golf club. Police responded to the 400 block of Skokie Boulevard at 10:57 a.m. on Dec. 12 and found that Robert Burton, 25 had gotten out of his vehicle and damaged the other car with a golf club. He was charged with criminal damage to property.
