GREAT AGE DAYTIME PROGRAMS PRESENTSBOOK CLUB Please join us for a lively discussion with local author Libby Fischer Hellmann. With ten novels and twenty short stories published, she has written thrillers, suspense mysteries, PI novels, amateur sleuth, police procedurals and even a cozy mystery. At the core of all her stories, however, is a crime or the possibility of one – the more political, the better. Libby is a transplant from Washington, D.C., and started her career in broadcast news. She worked with Robin McNeil and Jim Lehrer at N-PACT, the public affairs production arm of PBS. She currently lives on the North Shore and many of her novels are set here as well. Her new novel, A BITTER VEIL, is being released in April, 2012. A literary thriller and love story, it’s set in revolutionary Iran during the late ‘70s. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets $12 and include a copy of the book Thursday, July 19 @ 2:00pmSponsored by Platinum Adventures at North Shore Community BankTickets available online at www.wilmettetheatre.com or call Box Office at 847-251-7424
