Harmonizers sing at Wilmette Summerfest

The North Shore Harmonizers, an independent women's a cappella chorus in the barbershop tradition, will perform at 10am at the Wilmette Summerfest on Saturday, July 9, in downtown Wilmette (Wilmette Ave./Central Ave./Green Bay Rd.).

This lively concert will feature a mixture of songs, many from Broadway, such as “Consider Yourself” from Oliver, and familiar favorites including “Takin’ a Chance on Love,” “Moonglow,” and, of course, “In the Good Old Sumertime.”

Founded in 1952, the Harmonizers perform at their own public concerts, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers' markets during the summer.
