Janus Trio Features Flute, Viola and Harp

The Brooklyn-based Janus Trio represents an intriguing combination of something bowed, something blown and something plucked.  The ensemble is made up of flautist Amanda Baker, violist Beth Meyers and harpist Nuiko Wadden, who grew up in Wilmette.  The Janus Trio has collaborated with the composition with the composition departments from Princeton, Colgate, New York, Columbia and Cornell Universities.  The trio has played such notable venues as Symphony Space, Weill Recital Hall and the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage.

"A gorgeously subtle trio," says Time Out New York.
