Now as an adult, she fills her days teaching, playing, and singing with children at the Old Town School of Folk Music.  Joined by the rhythm and harmonies of Heather Perry and Aerin Tedesco, also teachers at Old Town, Lindsay & The Shimmies fill the ears of kids and adults with fun, catchy tunes that get feet tapping and voices singing along. They have performed at the Chicago Folk & Roots festival, the Beat Kitchen Concerts for Kids series, Bookamania at the Harold Washington Library, the Welles Park Gazebo summer series, and more. Lindsay & The Shimmies has recorded one EP entited "Bright Colors."
