Wilmette resident Guillermo Cannon brings his knowledge of Spain's annual Running of the Bulls festival to the Library. You'll see video clips of this year's run and the crowds of hundreds of thousands of people who watch the event that may not last for even ten minutes.
Another speaker, John Dudzik, who has run with the bulls 32 times, will recount his experiences. In addition Cannon will talk about the festival's history as well as the preparations and security measures. He will also relate how Ernest Hemingway's 1926 novel The Sun Also Rises first popularized the festival.
