Tickets will be available at 9:00 a.m. on April 30 for Wilmette and Kenilworth residents who wish to hear author Colum McCann discuss his novel, Let the Great World Spin, on May 22 at 2 p.m. at the , 3000 Glenview Road, Wilmette. Admission to the event is free, but tickets are required. Wilmette and Kenilworth residents may pick up a maximum of 2 free tickets at the Wilmette Public Library’s Recent Arrivals desk. Any remaining tickets will be available to non-residents beginning May 14. No phone reservations will be taken. Ticketed seats will be held until 10 minutes before the event; at that time, any unfilled seats will be open to the public. This event marks the culmination of the library’s 2011 “One Book, Everybody Reads” program.
