Take Wilmette's Flood Damage Survey
The village wants to know how many basements were flooded by July's storms.
In addition to the , Wilmette has released its own questionnaire to evaluate the village's sewer system.
Officials want to know who experienced basement flooding, and who didn't "to plan for future improvements," according to a statement on the village's website.
More than 5.5 inches of rain fell upon west Wilmette and more than 4.4 inches fell on the east side of the village .
