Glenview Residents Graduate from Regina Dominican

Noor Abdelfattah, Alicia Bergsma, Christi Lato, Isabella Laurie, Margaret Palmer, and Erin Pins, residents of Glenview, graduated from Regina Dominican in a Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony on May 23, 2015. Abdelfattah graduated as a superior scholar and will matriculate to Loyola University, Chicago. Regina Dominican Medalist in Dance, Bergsma graduated with high honors and will matriculate to University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign. Lato graduated with highest honors and will matriculate to Indiana University. Illinois State Scholar, Laurie graduated as a superior scholar and will matriculate to Boston College. Palmer graduated with highest honors and will matriculate to Illinois Wesleyan University. Illinois State Scholar and awardee of the prestigious St. Catherine of Siena Leadership Award for Service, Pins graduated as a superior scholar and will matriculate to University of Florida.

Katherine Strenk, resident of Golf, graduated as a superior scholar and will matriculate to Miami University, OH.

They are among 74 graduates accepted to 118 different colleges and universities. 81 percent of the members of the class were accepted to their first choice college. As a class, students were awarded $9 million in college scholarships. “I am confident that you will exceed all expectations because of the strong foundation you have received for continued spiritual growth, academic achievement, personal development and service to others,” said S. Mary Margaret Pachucki, president of Regina Dominican, at the Commencement Ceremony. “Always remember, wherever you go and whatever you do, you are Regina Dominican. We are very proud of you.” Regina Dominican is a college preparatory Catholic school for women located in Wilmette.
