Grass At Townley Field Damaged By Car
Kenilworth police say someone drove a car "on and through" Townley Field and damaged it.
KENILWORTH, IL - Kenilworth police are trying to find out who drove their car onto Townley Field and damaged it last week. A "damage to village property" incident was reported occurring there at some time between 5 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 11:43 a.m. on Nov. 22.
A Park District employee told police that an unknown person drove a vehicle "on and through" Townley Field in the 400 block of Richmond Road in Kenilworth and caused damage to the field, according to a police report.
A total loss value was still being determined on Monday.
