Hash Oil Found in Car After Cops Witness Drug Deal: Police

Two teenagers charged in Sunday night incident on Greenleaf Avenue.

Two teens were charged after police say they observed a drug transaction in the 1100 block of Greenleaf Ave. in Wilmette on Sunday.

When police stopped the car shortly before 8 p.m., they found the driver to be under a suspended license. The 18-year-old man was also cited for possession of cannabis.

During a search of the vehicle, police say they found approximately 30 grams of butane hash oil and a scale behind the passenger’s seat. The passenger - a 17-year-old juvenile from Morton Grove - was arrested for possession with intent to deliver cannabis.

Two others in the vehicle were held and questioned, but not charged.
