Hermès Opens Two-Level Store At Plaza Del Lago In Wilmette

WILMETTE, IL — Hermès is now open at Plaza del Lago in Wilmette, adding a new two-level boutique to the lakeside shopping destination on the North Shore.

The boutique was inspired by the natural wonder of Plaza del Lago's lakeside location. The historic Spanish Revival façade has been preserved, while the interior takes cues from light, texture, craftsmanship and the surrounding natural environment.

The opening also marks a milestone for Plaza del Lago's broader revamp, according to WS Development.

Hermès already operates a flagship store at 25 East Oak Street in Chicago. The Plaza del Lago location gives the luxury house another presence in the Chicago area while bringing a new retail addition to Wilmette's well-known shopping destination.
