JCAST Chicago Receives Special Tribute Award

NCJW Chicago North Shore group acknowledged for work to end sex trafficking.

At the National Council of Jewish Women's Washington Institute in March, NCJW Chicago North Shore Section and JCAST Chicago received a Social Change Tribute Award. These awards are given to NCJW sections and volunteers whose work has made an important difference in their communities this past year. Several members of the JCAST Chicago Steering Committee were on hand to receive the award including Steering Committee Co-chairs Beth Gordon and Donna Fishman and Steering Committee member Sara Kalish (center). The Jewish Coalition Against Sex Trafficking Chicago (JCAST Chicago) works to eradicate sex trafficking in the Chicago-land area through public awareness, community engagement, and advocacy at local, state and national levels. Inspired by Jewish values, we partner with interfaith and human rights groups, non-profit organizations, government officials, and law enforcement agencies. Learn more at www.jcastchicago.org .
