Kenilworth Blotter: Narcotics Uncovered in Traffic Stop, Underage Drinking
The following incidents occurred between June 21 and June 25.
UNDERAGE DRINKING
Police issued eight citations for underage drinking at a party in the 700 block of Maclean Avenue on June 21 at 11:30 p.m. Authorities were responding to a loud noise complaint at the residence when they discovered the event where alcohol was available. No parents were home at the time.
DUI STOP
A 20-year-old Des Plaines man was stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of Sheridan Road on June 25 at 2:39 a.m. Further investigation revealed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and the driver was taken into custody.
NARCOTICS
A 28-year-old Evanston resident was stopped in the 300 block of Sheridan Road on June 25 at 12:17 a.m. for traffic violations. Further investigation revealed that she was in possession of narcotics. The woman was charged with two citations.
