Kenilworth Cops Charge 3 at Underage Drinking Party
Unlawful gathering held February 6 on Wayland Avenue, police say.

A Friday night unerage drinking party in Kenilworth resulted in three citations, although several more were actually in attendance.
When police arrived shortly before 10:30 p.m. on February 6, Sgt. Bryan Carlson said most of the guests “scattered when they saw officers.”
A 17-year-old Kenilworth girl was ticketed for hosting the party in the 600 block of Wayland Avenue. A 17-year-old Wilmette boy was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, consuming alcohol as a minor and obstruction while Christopher Lane, 18, Winnetka was also cited for consuming alcohol as a minor.

Officers were initially called for a parking complaint due to “the amount of cars parked in front of the house and on that block,” Carlson told the Wilmette Life.
