Kenilworth PD:120 Traffic Citations, Four Arrests During Crackdown
Kenilworth Police released their July 4 crackdown numbers Thursday.

Kenilworth Police ended a three-week crackdown program Monday that resulted in 120 traffic citations and four arrests, according to a statement released Thursday.
Between June 17 and July 4 authorities participated in "a statewide effort to save lives by getting impaired drivers off our roads and more motorists buckled up during late-night hours," the release states. The effort was funded by IDOT's Division of Traffic Safety, and included involvement from state enforcement.
A breakdown of the arrests included three for impaired driving, one for drug posession and 120 traffic violations.
