Langdon Park Beach House Controversy May Mean Two Ballot Initiatives
Park District to consider having two referendums, one for Gillson Park and another for Langdon Park.

Wilmette residents may be voting on two different referendums for up to a combined $14.5 million in lakefront projects.
The Chicago Tribune reports the Wilmette Park District had originally planned to decide on whether or not to place a referendum encompassing work at both Gillson and Langdon parks, but may now ask for two separate ones to be on the ballot due to a plan to build a 600-square-foot beach house at Langdon Park that has seen some organized opposition by residents.
