Local Nail Salon Burglarized Overnight

A Wilmette nail salon was burglarized overnight last week.

According to police reports, an offender used a tool to smash out a small hole in the glass directly next to the locking mechanism at Top Spa and Nail, 145 Skokie Rd. sometime between 9:30 p.m. on August 28 and 9 a.m. the following day.

Once inside, the offender stole $100 in cash that was located inside a drawer behind the counter.
