Man Crashed Car Into Gas Pump and Spit in Cop's Face: Police
Police say they found 20-year-old Christopher Morris in an alley behind Catalpa Place early Sunday morning.

WILMETTE, IL - A Wilmette man who crashed his Jeep into a gas pump at the Shell station on Ridge Road early Sunday morning later spit in the face of a police officer, according to a report.
Police found significant damage at the pump around 2:41 a.m. and heard from a witness at the scene the Jeep that crashed into it fled eastbound with a flat tire.
Police found a vehicle that matched the description of the one involved in the crash shortly after in the alley behind the 200 block of Catalpa Place.

The driver, 20-year-old Christopher Morris, spit into a police officer's face when he was being detained in the squad car, the report stated.
Morris was charged and processed with one count of aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting arrest, DUI, reckless driving, failure to give information after a traffic crash and other traffic related citations, according to police.
