Man Tries to Rob Wilmette CVS

A middle age white man attempted to rob the CVS Pharmacy at the Plaza Del Lago in Wilmette Monday.

Police said the man, described as about 5’10 and 175 pounds, had approached the pharmacy desk at the store at 1515 Sheridan Road at 3:26 p.m. and presented a note demanding prescription pain killers and implied possession of a firearm.

The pharmacist called police and the offender fled the area without gaining any medications.

The offender is described as a middle age white male approximately 5’10 tall and 175 pounds. He was last seen fleeing on foot from the scene.
