A Chicago man faces a drug charge after police say ecstasy was found his car.

WILMETTE, IL - A Chicago man was charged with possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest after a short foot pursuit Tuesday evening at the Shell station on Lake Avenue in Wilmette.

Police arrived at Shell, 3501 Lake Ave. at 5:26 p.m. on Dec. 29 after a report of an intoxicated subject and located the man - Deon Stuckey, 26, Chicago - behind the driver’s seat of a car parked there.

A report states Stuckey was told to exit the vehicle and complied after “shoving something into the driver’s seat,” but then fled on foot. He was taken into custody half-a-block away before police found a bag of ecstasy in the vehicle.
