New Trier Assessor to Address Appeals to the Board of Review

New Trier Township Assessor Jan Churchwell and Deputy Assessor Len Shifflett will lead a discussion about how the appeal “windows” to the County Assessor and County Board of Review complement each other and how homeowners can appeal their 2019 assessed values to the Board of Review.

The event will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township hall, located at 739 Elm Street in Winnetka.

By law the Board of Review cannot proceed to hear appeals until the County Assessor has completed his appeal process and certified the results. Once the BOR notifies us of our dates for appeal, we will notify you.

Assessor Churchwell encourages property owners to attend and learn their appeal options.
