New Trier Basketball Guard Makes Commitment to Northwestern

Star basketball guard Maggie Lyon could be suiting up as a Northwestern Wildcat next fall. The 6-foot-1 senior made a verbal commitment to the University last week, the Chicago Tribune reports.

"It's a really exciting time with the athletic department there," Lyon stold The Trib. "The coaches at Northwestern have really turned around the program. They're bringing in better recruits, their records are better than in the past and the program is really on the rise."
