New Trier Grad Lands Role on MTV Comedy

Katie Chang, who trained at the Wilmette Theatre's Actors Center, will play a sorority leader on "Little Darlings."

A Winnetka native and New Trier High School alum has landed a supporting role on an MTV comedy.

Katie Chang will portray “Kennedy,” a sorority president and ‘BFF’ of Jules, one of the main characters on “Little Darlings,” a show set to debut in 2016.

“Little Darlings” is described as “a dark half-hour comedy about two unlikely friends taking justice into their own hands and kicking literal ass on their college campus,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A social leader, “Kennedy” is described as having “a magnetic cool-factor, but she’s no mean girl.

“She’s been dating campus king Dylan Davis for the last three years, but she still puts effort and energy into arranging mixers for her sorority sisters, for whom she would do anything. Kennedy has no idea about Jules’s ‘extracurricular activities’ -- but she has noticed her friend pulling away from her.”

According to the Winnetka Current, she is now a student at Northwestern University, but was informed of the role for “Little Darlings” while she was studying in New York.
