Pair Accused of Intending to Sell Pot in Wilmette

A 58-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were charged after a Wilmette Police Department investigation.

WILMETTE, IL - A Wilmette police investigation resulted in the arrest of a 58-year-old man and 16-year-old boy for possessing an excessive amount of cannabis with an intent to distribute.

Kipp Lykens, 58 was arrested at his home in the 400 block of Ridge on Oct. 26. He was charged with possession of cannabis in excess of 500 grams with intent to distribute, possession of cannabis in excess of 500 grams, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 16-year-old boy was also charged in the alleged operation.
