The Performer's School Summer Camps Announced-Sign Up
The Performer's School announces SUMMER CAMPS, Classes and Productions--Register NOW!

The Performer’s School, founded in 2013 by two professional musical theatre performers/directors/choreographers, Stacey Flaster and Liz Fauntleroy has expanded dramatically these past couple of years with a Professional Ensemble Company, sold out productions of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,”13”, “Legally Blonde, Jr.” and upcoming in May 2016, “Shrek” TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences).There were concert performances at The Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest and Wilmette Summerfest and an on-going collaboration with a film production company to create films for kids by kids on important social issues including an anti-bullying film, “Bystander” featured at a film festival in NYC. This past year saw the creation of TPS Remixed, an acapella group that performed at holiday events all over the northern suburbs of Chicagoland. This past year also saw visits by Broadway performers in national touring companies of shows including “Wicked”, “The Lion King” and upcoming with “Matilda”.
This next week Abby Mueller who stars in the national tour of “Beautiful” will be holding a sold out workshop.
There are workshops especially for ages 3-6, ongoing classes, Guest Artist Workshops and Summer Camps.
Students perform in professional productions at such venues as Writer’s Theatre, Marriott Licolnshire, Light Opera Works, Drury Lane, Chicago Shakespeare and Northlight Theatre.

THE PERFORMER’S SCHOOL BASED IN HIGHWOOD ANNOUNCES SUMMER CAMPS FOR AGES 10-17WORK WITH TOP THEATRE PROFESSIONALS IN WINTER CLASSES AND GUEST WORKSHOPS
(Highwood, Il--Jan. 8, 2016) The Performer’s School, a professional performing arts training school for grades 1-12 announces Summer Camps 2016. Camps take place at The Highwood Rec Center, 432 Green Bay Road, Highwood where The Performer’s School has classes year round.
Guest Artist Summer Camp
Grades 5th – 10thJUNE CAMP
June 20th – July 1st
Monday through Friday
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Cost: $1350 ( 2 Weeks )
Payment Options:
Option One: Pay $250 deposit(non refundable) to register. Balance due April 20, 2016
Option Two: Pay two weeks of camp in full: $1350 (Includes $250 non refundable deposit )
Option Three: Pay one week tuition in full: $675 (Week One 6/20 – 6/24/16 or Week Two 6/27 – 7/1/16) (Includes $250 non refundable deposit )
AUGUST CAMP:
August 8th – August 12th

Option Two: Pay in Full ONLY (8/8 -8/12/16) (Includes $250 non refundable deposit)Students will train with industry professionals on acting, vocal performance and technique, choreography, monologues, yoga for the actor and much more! Guests artists include agents, industry casting professionals, choreographers, vocal directors etc. In the past we have included George Keating, Sam Samuelson, Zach Gray, Doug Peck, Beckie Menzie, Laura Savage, Marchello Lee, Kacee Hudson, William Osetek and more! Students should bring a lunch and water bottle, dance/soft tennis shoes and clothes easy to move in. All Guest Artist Camps are at the Highwood Rec Center.To register and pay go to:

Musical Theatre Performance Camp

Cost: $1850 (Three Weeks + Performances) Audition Required. Non-Refundable Deposit of $250 required upon acceptance. Balance of $1650 due Spring 2016. More info to follow once accepted into program. Audition: Please prepare and videotape a 32 bar cut with accompaniment (piano or instrumental track). We should be able to see you and hear you clearly on the video. Please email the video or video link (Youtube or Vimeo) toinfo@theperformersschool.com. We will email acceptances. Videos due ASAP and no later than February 1, 2016. Performances: July 29th, 30th, 31st (Times TBD)This performance intensive camp will prepare you for the professional track. Rehearsal to stage in three weeks in a full production of a great Broadway titled show (TBA). Directed by Stacey Flaster & George Keating, with Musical Direction by Liz Fauntleroy this will be the experience of the summer! All performances will be held at Skokie Theatre and each student will receive two comp tickets to a show.
