Rainn Wilson Calls For 1984 New Trier Election To Be Overturned
"There's nothing wrong with saying that you recalculated," said the actor and New Trier High School alum.

WILMETTE, IL — New Trier High School alum Rainn Wilson Monday called for those in charge of the school's 1984 class elections to "find" him enough votes to overturn the results in his favor.
In an apparent sarcastic reference to audio of President Donald Trump telling Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger he "just want[s] to find 11,780 votes" to overturn the results of last year's presidential election, Wilson said he needed an additional 437 votes to defeat Jenny McKlusker as class treasurer.
"There’s nothing wrong with saying that you recalculated," Wilson told the "tellers and ballot counters" responsible for the 36-year-old high school election in a tweet.

Wilson moved to Wilmette for his final two years of high school before launching his acting career. After starting in theater, he gained worldwide fame as Dwight Schrute on the U.S. version of the "The Office." Wilson delivered a commencement address to New Trier's class of 2018.
I’m going to need the tellers and ballot counters of New Trier high school circa 1984 to find me those additional 437 votes that would’ve landed me class treasurer. There’s nothing wrong with saying that you recalculated & that Jenny McKlusker lost, not me!
