Rauner Tours Wilmette Junior High
The Illinois Governor spoke to students and staff at Wilmette Junior High School Monday morning.
WILMETTE, IL - Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner was in Wilmette Monday morning speaking to students and staff at Wilmette Junior High School.
According to a Wilmette School District 39 news release, Rauner was given a guided tour of WJHS by some of the school's eighth grade students and then met with a group of seventh graders to answer questions.

Elected to the state's top elected position in 2014, Rauner has plenty of ties to the North Shore. He grew up in Deerfield and has resided in Winnetka for years.
