Regina Dominican Continues gnimocemoH Tradition

Regina Dominican’s version of Homecoming, gnimocemoH, consisted of four fun-filled days at the end of October. A tradition since 2000, students dress up each day according to a theme. This year’s theme was Disney: Regina Dominican, The Happiest Place on Earth.

Classes competed via the Class Leadership Boards in a wall decorating contest and each homeroom competed in a door decorating contest facilitated by their Student Council Rep. The hallways were covered in Disney theme designs. The junior class won the wall decorating class for their incorporation of their advisory teachers and for staying within their “Animal Kingdom” theme.

The celebration culminated in the annual student versus faculty flag football game, and ended with the crowning of the school gnimocemoH neeuQ and her truoC (the Queen and her Court). The faculty once again claimed the gnimocemoH trophy.
