The 13-year District 39 was the choice to replace Dr. Heather Glowacki.

A 13-year veteran District 39 teacher has been tabbed as the next principal of Romona School in Wilmette.

Cindy Anderson, currently the sixth grade Assistant Principal at Highcrest, will begin in her new role on July 1. She will replace Dr. Heather Glowacki, who is being promoted to District 39’s Administrator for Human Resources role.

“I am very pleased to promote Cindy into this important position,” said Dr. Raymond Lechner, District 39 superintendent. “Throughout her time in District 39, she has demonstrated her strong leadership skills as she successfully oversees Highcrest’s sixth grade. I look forward to her continued contributions to the District and the community.”
